Affordable Mid Century Modern Tract - Broadmoor Exclusives
Broadmoor Exclusives in Tustin is located in West Tustin, near the intersection of Mitchell Avenue and Tupelo Lane. This neighborhood has the basics down: Tustin Schools, close to several freeways (5 and 55), great shopping within 10 minutes or less, but it has a lot more to offer.
The neighborhood has several amenities that make it unique. It features two grassy parks and a swimming pool for residents. The neighborhood does have a homeowner’s association, but unlike many other associations, the monthly fees are very reasonable: just $46 per month. The association is active but keeps a simple mission: improve the neighborhood, keep it safe, and do it economically. For potential buyers who currently live in a condo, it’s a breath of fresh air to find an association with minimal cost that provides the services you need.
Tustin is unique among Orange County cities as it is one of the few cities settled before 1900. As such, it has some unique history and the community has always had a sense of individuality that separates it from the newer cities in the county. Old Town Tustin is small but has fun places to visit. My personal favorites are Beach Pit BBQ and Quinn’s Pub and Grill. Each year we host a street faire (Tustin Tiller Days), a Chili Cook Off (look for the MeadeFirst booth in 2011!) and an Art Walk. Tustin residents love to shop in Tustin whenever possible. It’s a fun place to live and you find many residents who have lived here for decades.
